Capabilities

Cavity tocontour

Six connected capabilities, delivered by one team. Engage the whole program or drop us into the phase that is stuck.

Service capabilities

Acoustic system design

Driver selection and characterisation, enclosure volume and port tuning, damping stack specification, and target-curve validation in our anechoic box.

  • Driver characterisation
  • Port and passive radiator tuning
  • Damping and mesh impedance

Mechanical engineering

Hinges, yokes, gaskets, and fastening strategies detailed to production tolerance, with cycle testing on printed and machined mules.

  • GD&T production drawings
  • Clamp force and fit studies
  • Drop and fatigue testing

Industrial design

Form development driven by the acoustic volume you actually need, resolved in physical models rather than renders alone.

  • Concept exploration
  • Appearance models
  • Ergonomics and grip

CMF and materials

Anodizing, textile wraps, recycled polymers, and grille finishes specified with measurable standards and approved masters.

  • Color standards and masters
  • Textile and mesh sourcing
  • Surface and texture specs

DFM and tooling support

We review tool layouts with your factory, mark up shut-offs and draft, and attend first-shot and pilot builds.

  • Tool layout review
  • First-shot markup
  • Pilot build support

Prototyping and validation

Acoustic mules, appearance models, and test rigs built in-house so decisions happen against hardware, not opinions.

  • CNC and SLA models
  • Acoustic mules
  • Measurement reporting

How a program runs

Four phases, no fog

01

Discovery

Target curve, BOM constraints, cost ceiling, and tooling budget captured in a written brief. 2 weeks.

02

Concept

Acoustic architecture and three form directions, tested as foam and printed volumes. 4 weeks.

03

Development

Mechanism, mesh, gasketing and CMF resolved against measured prototypes. 8–14 weeks.

04

Production

Release package, tool review, first-shot markup, and pilot build attendance. 4–10 weeks.

Inside the work

Hardware, not renders

Perforated sage grille and woven driver cone in macro detail
Mesh impedance samples
Exploded headphone assembly drawings with tolerance notes
Release documentation
Home theater cabinet cutaway showing bracing and damping
Cabinet bracing studies
