An initiation payment of [Deposit Percentage, e.g. 30%] reserves studio capacity and covers discovery activity. It is refundable in full if you cancel in writing within [Cooling-Off Period, e.g. 7 days] of payment and before discovery work has started.
After discovery has started, the initiation payment is non-refundable, because the reserved capacity cannot be resold at short notice.
Fees for a phase that has not begun at the date of a written cancellation are refunded in full.
For a phase already underway, we invoice work completed to date on a time-and-materials basis at the rates in the proposal, and refund the balance of any prepayment for that phase within [Refund Processing Time, e.g. 14 days].
Completed and delivered phases are not refundable once the deliverables have been accepted or deemed accepted under the proposal.
Third-party and pass-through costs are non-refundable once committed. These typically include tooling deposits, prototype machining and printing, materials, mesh and textile samples, laboratory or certification testing, courier charges, and booked travel.
Where a deliverable does not meet the written scope, our first remedy is correction. Notify us within [Review Window, e.g. 10 business days] of delivery with specific reference to the agreed scope, and we will revise the work at no additional cost. A refund is considered only where correction is not possible.
Changes of direction, new requirements, or preferences that fall outside the agreed scope are handled as a change order and are chargeable.
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than your material breach or non-payment, we refund all prepaid fees for work not performed, and assist with an orderly handover of work in progress.
Send a written request to admin@lumitron.online quoting the proposal reference, the phase concerned, and the reason for the request. We acknowledge within [Acknowledgement Period, e.g. 5 business days] and issue a decision within [Decision Period, e.g. 15 business days].
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method in the original currency. Bank charges and currency conversion differences are borne by the payer.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks raised without a prior refund request may be contested with the payment provider and may lead to suspension of active work.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable statutory right you hold under the law of [Jurisdiction]. This policy is governed by the law of [Jurisdiction].
